>she absolutely freaks the fuck out that I "wasted 10 fucking grand"
>is mad about it for months
>say 'fuck it', I made the right decision
>now she's all for it when she sees that those investments are now worth about $20k
>wants me to cash out to go on a fucking trip???? (this is in the middle of all the lockdowns)
>doesnt accept that if we leave the country or province I have to take an extra 2 weeks off work to quarantine
>meanwhile this whole time she just calls me lazy because I "dont work enough" and "all my friend's husbands are working 2 or 3 jobs!" (keep in mind I still make about twice as much as them working less hours)
>get asked to go out of town for some work up north (literally in the arctic circle right by the ocean)
>I make about twice as much working out of town, so for the next 2 or 3 months (16 days on, 7 days off work back home, I get flown back and forth) I'll be making the equivalent of $200k/year

>says I'm "just taking one of your sluts on vacation! YOU NEVER TAKE ME ON VACATION" (keep in mind I have absolutely no sluts)
>also keep in mind the population density of the area I'm going to is <1 person per square km
>literally more polar bears than whores where I'm going
>she doesn't care, somehow thinks I'm going to be cheating on her in the middle of buttfuck nowhere at a research center thats currently empty where I'll be staying with about 10 other guys all their 40s/50s

I just dont fucking get it. I get a chance to make even more money, she just thinks I'm going to cheat on her? Is it literally never good enough?
