I put 5k into QuadrigaCX after a friend shilled me BTC nonstop for months on end, but I didn't care to do research and my friend never told me I need a crypto wallet, so I lost all of it when Quadriga did the exit scam after the owner """died."""" Too scared to touch crypto/stocks since so I just buy physical things like ammo and metals.

i don't know how desperate or pathetic this sounds but i cashed in a savings bond to buy XLM. i'm making money, not volvo money, but some money. i'm assuming from here it's reinvesting and a lot of hodling to build up my portfolio?
