Before coronavirus, this sat around 10,000 dollars an ounce. It crashed with coronavirus, as everyone converted pretty much everything to dollars. Gold and silver mostly track this.

It then recovered slowly, not really reaching its old high until August, chilled between 13,000 and 16,000 until the beginning of this year, then shot upwards like some fucking catgirl crypto, and went from 21,000 to nearly 30,000 in a month, over 40% gains in a single month.
