No. It's a precious metal that has few uses. Palladium once went to $10K per ounce overnight but then dropped hideously when they found a substitute to use in Catalytic converters instead of Palladium.

There's no substitute for silver or gold and only Silver has the potential to become exhausted first (by 2025). So only silver has the chance to rocket in value and it's the one metal that is being so aggressively shorted at the moment.
