These Band-Aids option have benefits though:
There are a a very limited number of wifeable women in the world, let's say 5%

Artificial world's allow 100x more intense and strange experience. Some of these experiences are far far better than anything that could happen in reality.
This also applied to adventure and socialising too. Doing adventures or social event things IRL is monumentally expensive; travel time, putting up with bullshit, flakes, risk of literal death or lifelong injury. You get far less fun packed into the leisure time you have available.
