most junior miners will go to 0. You are trading illiquid shitcos with fundamentals you need to be a geologist to actually understand.

Taseko Mines (TGB in US), but you might be too late. Florence copper project now fully funded and permitted and ready to proceed, literally a textbook example of the second trough of the Lasonde curve. High copper prices will help them in the short term, but even if prices drop again later, they'll have a second full mine worth of revenue.

>TSLA is the battery market
They may have a large first mover advantage, and a huge crowd of borderline cultists willing to fund their ventures at any price, but they're not the only one making EVs nor batteries. If someone else make a better chemistry and mass produces it, it won't matter what Tesla is mass producing. Mines take years to construct and years to break even, are you certain that manganese will be the best chemistry 10 years from now?

Took profits on PGM. You`re in the 9th inning in a a game that may have extra innings. I`ve said this a hundred times, but the production cashflow gets priced in during the run up to the first pour, not right when they make the first pour. Otherwise everyone would just all in a week before production, it makes no sense at all. PGM is now about gold price and exploration potential, the latter aspect being mostly why I`m holding the remainder of my shares, along with my trust in this management team and my belief that producers very good holds for this next leg. Read up on the lassonde curve guys.

Some damn good info. Reminds me of how media came after Schiff and George Gammon - there's no way they'll let us keep the gains tax free without a fight. However, could this be them frontrunning their inability to manipulate PM prices any longer, knowing that the huge price increase is inevitable due to macro factors, and also knowing that the manipulated short position is going to need to cover as well which will be nitrous to our rocket fuel.

You're at the second peak of the Lassonde curve now, literally. It all depends on exploration success and the price of gold. I know people are taking profits but I'll take my chances holding knowing the management team and excellent property. At the gold prices where we're going Puregold is a cash cow.

Christ guys come on... Buy the rumour sell the news is about the good news being PRICED INTO the stock during the run up to the news being released. In the case of Puregold production has been priced in FOR 12 MONTHS now. Did you think they'll just multibag the day first pour happens? Once the news happens, the initial driving force of share price appreciation is gone, so the stock may fall. In the case of Puregold you're literally at the second peak of the Lassonde Curve.

HOWEVER, Puregold has 2 things going for it. Firstly The rise in price of gold is not fully priced in as nobody knows what prices we'll see in the future for certain, so cashflow may be significantly higher. This applies to all producers. Secondly, PGM has very good exploration potential and a very good team to unlock it.

If you don't know what you're doing and don't want to spend a lot of time learning and evaluating companies, go with one of those ETFs or a major like Barrick/Newmont/Agnico Eagle/etc. I don't recommend going for juniors without knowledge of how things work a little.
>If you get up to speed and identify a good miner, roughly how long can you trust them to perform well?
It requires conviction and risk tolerance but also knowing good results when you see them helps. A good ground is a good ground and consistent results are consistent results. Promising projects can be recognized with a little experience. Requires trust in management and your own judgement.
>I've seen the graphs of miner stock value over time, but I don't have a good understanding of the time frames of precious metal mining.
We're talking about months and years.

You must understand the industry. Remember that. Here's the Lassonde Curve, also I posted informative links in the previous thread, take a look at those and jump into the rabbit hole: >>24227174
Also of course basic financial analysis is important though you seem like you know about that already judging from your learning-focused attitude

Just to push back on PureGold, which I own, it's not as good an investment anymore as cashflow is being priced in. In the Lassonde curve, we're technically approaching the second peak. The cashflow doesn't get priced in after first pour, the cashflow gets priced in in the months leading up to first pour, i.e. now. So you may be in a buy the rumour sell the news scenario. However, to counterpoint this, I'd say the cashflow is being priced in for current or below current gold prices, and as the price of Gold rises puregold will be leveraged to it. but all gold miners and specifically producers will be leveraged to the price increase, and you have to wonder would you rather ride puregold up or another better producer.
