OK so let me get this straight. You prettymuch agree that your EV over time is a downward line. And because slots is a narrowly defined game, there is a pretty narrow "upper bound" above said line bounding your positive outcomes. So basically what you are saying is that, despite your EV going down over time, you are gonna get ONE spike way above it, that will also give you a net gain... then walk away? This is not adding up.
