On August 24, everyone of you turds was parading around like your shit was without stink. The market momentarily shit its guts out and you took it as vindication that you are, in fact, an oracle (step aside Buffett). You all said you are going to stay short this and that and fuck your mother. The market has slit the throats of all you permabears and once again rewarded the shit-headed self-directed buyers of Nasdaq froth such as myself with fattened pockets.

If you fail to see that Yellen is going to ride this bitch all the way till the next Fed chair takes over to serve as the fall guy, then I got some awfully bad news for you.

I'm currently long helium and short oxygen. According to my mathematical models, the spread between the two is out of whack. I expect helium demand to increase through the summer and into the fall, with interest in oxygen to start tapering.

Been there, done that. Shit stings at first, life feels cruel and miserable. Life's a bitch and has a strange way of fucking over good-to-do people and some of the smartest people I know.

Just remember that its what you take from failure that both defines the type of man you are as well as what you'll become from here. Successful people I know (the ones who started from nothing and not from privilege) have lost everything, sometimes more than once. Failure is like calluses, it should make you tougher.

When you pick up the pieces and start over you should at least have a better idea of what not to do. You'll probably have enough contacts to help you back on your feet. Successful people learn by putting their hands too close to the flame. Many will respect you for this. Most people have shcadenfreud (including most /biz/shitters) - just avoid them.
