I fell for the economic collapse meme.
Kept $100k in my gun safe for the last 10 years because the economy would "collapse any day now".
Missed out on the biggest bull market in history.
Didn't even contribute to my 401k and get matching contributions from my employer because I thought my money would be safer in my gun safe.
Bought gold and silver :(
I even bought Canadian dollars in case the USD became worthless. Yeah real fucking smart.
Probably could have made enough to retire by if I invested in index funds.
And people here are still with the "economy gonna collapse any day now" meme.
