I recommend anons get some dial calipers, decimal inch of course. To measure he coins. Also to supplement tht, one of those cigar shop precision scales does wonders for weighing coins, i put a stickynote pad on the scale [then tared the scale] so that the coins don't get scratched by the stainless steel surface of the scale. The paper has a weight kek forgot how mucb need 2 whip out the scale. I know $1 weighs a gram, i have several little brass standards i turned on the lathe a few decades ago, ground them to "exact" weightplus or minus a negligible amount thatd require an even finer scale to differentiate.
