Yes it's an ad network. While being privacy preserving. They have had over 10m users opt into Brave rewards. 60+m monthly active Brave users. Userbase has bee. Increasing rapidly, millions per month. They're committed to adding BAT utility with their various products. They have a search engine with over 400m queries per month, it took Duckduckgo about ~7 years to reach what Brave did in 1. Basically the potential for growth is great and yes its never had a huge pump. There is built in buy pressure each month from Brave regardless of what the price of BAT is.

In sort yes it's an ad token, people are betting on Braves userbase and increasing utility.

I haven't had any sign of rewards estimated or otherwise. I had an issue with Brave about 3 weeks ago and ended up clearing my cache etc out of desperation. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it but I think I might not get paid this month. Also not verified.
