I dont think there are any 'practical' solutions to privacy and compliance, as its a divide over the philosophic character of money. Namely is it a natural right, or a positivist right. The end result of playing this faustian bargian game with the positivists Is returning to Cefi, as defi solutions will possessive non of their desired properties and cost a whole lot more, as said in this thread, to make it fit into existing frameworks means to make it a centralised shit coin without any immutability. We've already seen two protocols providing open access and earnest zkp be attacked by the goons, and more will come without performing some back door keys to gov, or inheritance from an existing pki structure that holds identity, but again, once this is done, what value does crypto actually provide over a centralized solution?

Why I say if you want to make a billion dollars, just stick an evm on top of a postgres database and find some bohemian grove cultists.

If you want defi however, its high time to air gap your lenovo, find a off market pc without intel management suite or nvidia geforce experience, get 7 vpns and an old iso of windows xp or bsd

this current tech stack is good for things like desci or public goods problem, but its broken for defi
