Since a 20% down payment on a home is like $250k now and with inflation you need like $10 million to retire comfortably I've decided that it's not even worth trying since I'm in my 30s and will be pretty much dead by the time I accomplished any of it so instead I will spend all the disposable income from my $100k job consooming on hobbies, dining on restaurants, traveling, and enjoying life instead of saving for a future that will never come, thus exacerbating inflation. I'd immediately move back in with my parents. I'd feel so relaxed. I'd play vidya all day. I'd go for walks on hot summer days.

I'd casually book holidays and walk in to the airport without any money worries. I could buy toblerones. I'd drink Starbucks coffee while feeling so relaxed.

I'd sit in a plane and wouldn't care if it was delayed.

It would be like those video games where you can roam about freely after defeating the final boss and complete the sidequests if you want.

I'd shitpost all day if I wanted to. I'd spend £1000 on a random cryptos for the lolz. I'd start twitch streaming myself playing vidya without the fear of embarrassment that comes from being seen by people irl.

I would wear old and unfashionable clothes and not give a single fuck.

Life would be so low pressure.
