in canada Canada-Post is the only trustworthy courier and all the other companies leave packages in dangerous locations. I buy $5000 shipments that i know are going through canada post but anything else i try to buy in person. I generally go maximum $1000 CAD for anything non Canada-Post but even 700 dollar packages stress me out knowing that companies like raven-force (final mile delivery for international ebay orders in Canada) will leave expensive packages outside apartment buildings.

There's a gold and diamond bracelet i want on ebay and got a seller offer for spot + 20% and even though its only $400 CAD all in i feel like its almost too much hassle knowing that ravenforce will do something retarded with the package if i dont pay a pensioner in my building to sit outside and watch for the package.
