/r9k/ idiot here that is trying to understand the world and my place in it. Allow me to ask a question based on my childish understanding of money.

Money/wealth/assets is the embodiment of value. When you have skills or knowledge or products that provides value to others, they give you standardized value (money) that you can use to gain the benefits (value) of the skills/knowledge/creations of others.

This means to gain value, you must provide value. You can do this by working under others or by working for yourself.

The most realistic way to work for others are to go to college and get a job in a desirable field and work under an already established company. To work for yourself you need to create and market a product or service. To do this requires you to develop skills on your own.

However I feel that to really succeed, you need to provide value to yourself. Those who succeed in a particular field or who master different skills derive fulfillment from doing so, which incentivizes them to get better at those things.

I feel that fulfillment comes in two varieties: fulfillment from making money/wealth in itself (in which case the key to fulfillment is to find the easiest/most comfortable way to make money versus what you give up to do so) and fulfillment from learning or improving your ability to perform something (monetizing a hobby or pastime).

Which brings me to the end of my autism, my actual fucking question. How do you find what will give you fulfillment?

So I have a phone interview this week for an associate forex position, only ever done one other interview which I completely bombed; spent 10 minutes tripping over myself before he said I wasn't suited for the position. Any personal advice on how not to fuck up and how to prepare?

Will making a lot of money make me happy?

Will it stop the I-wish-I-was-an-animu feels?

>isn't that a bit expensive?
That's what I'm asking you guys.

My idea behind it is, I want to attract people who have the money to pay for good service. I've gone to people's businesses for $10/hr and gotten headache after headache (even though I know he could afford more because he would just take it as a tax deduction). Another time, I went to someone's house and made $50 in 30 minutes and it was actually a nice experience (lady was friendly, work was easy).

All she needed was someone to be there and help her out with how to use windows 8 and I was there. Staples does that, but they're really expensive.

TL;DR cheap prices attract cheap people. Should I put it out there and see who bites?

I'm probably, like, the 60%. Damn you gayben for taking my hard earned money.

I'm working on a small business that could yield a shit ton of money. I'm really going to work hard to make sure it pays off, then I'll REALLY be able to make bank and invest. I'll admit, sometimes I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I'm a fucking autistic hard worker, so I got that going for me.
