>I have a kid that's a weaboo chinaboo but he hasn't bought any silver chopsticks yet.
>just a lot of katanas and manga/mahnwa
kek, very true. Which is nonsensical to me. Practically, how often are weaboos gonna use their katana collections to chop off people? Never! Or once at best. But they could enjoy using their shiny chopsticks every day, even twice a day!

So it was belgian after all. Thanks for finding it, it was driving me mad to not figure this out lol.
>As you might imagine not too much Ottoman Empire silver made its way over here so I've never handled any personally
I can imagine, never saw any before myself, but we have a lot of berber silver stuff on sale over here from our former north african colonies (Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco..), but until recently they didn't abide to any hallmark system and it mostly was locally crafted stuff, so pretty hard to identify silver's purity and origin. And since berbers are known as scammers, most pieces i've seen auctionned on ebay end up with zero bids since it's pretty much impossible to tell if you will end up with real silver.
>I'm curious what the larger engraved tughra says
Apparently it's just the complete name of the sultan.

Congrats again on your nippon deal btw, those salt shakers looks rad af, in a brutalist, kinda imperial army like fashion. They make me think of tiny salt battlecruises. I can't wait to see how they look likes once cleaned and all shiny.

ALERT: Major Chinese Banks Prevent Customers From Buying Gold
>These big Chinese banks are taking some measures to bar the purchase of gold, silver, platinum and palladium

It's afraid, lads. Deliveries are spooping the shit out of the banksters.
