With buying and DRS'ing a long position, theres no more cost/expenditure involved for maintaining that position. You're not on a clock, the shares dont expire, and you literally can just forget about it while keeping the pressure on. With options on the other hand, they can pull off a myriad of tricks to push it two more weeks and burn off/sour investments and encourage capitulation sooner

With the exception of a few choice yolo retards, I'm pretty sure most investors are just throwing part of their paychecks every two weeks and most people I imagine consider the investment "spent and gone" and are truly okay with gme possibly reaching hitting 0 for the chance of the massive roi. No wonder shills/wallstreet are seething this is now a two year thing. They thought they could get people to panic and sell much much sooner.
