This pictures always make me sad. I'm 35 now so birthdays are just another day, but when you're young they're supposed to be special. Seeing people spend their birthday all alone with just their mother (single mother let's be honest kek) just isn't right. How can you not have at least one friend to share that day with? Part of this thought makes me feel like that is the root cause for my drinking. Maybe I care too much about the losers of the world. I know if I had no friends and spent my birthday alone, my mother would be absolutely heart broken and in tears.
