Yes, LINK has a lot of interesting factors that make it comparable to an VC backed startup that could establish itself as a monopoly for many years.
It's not just its first-mover advantage that will help it establish dominance; it could be the last-mover:
>It will have multiple reinforcing network effects between public/private blockchains, smart-contract platforms, legacy world systems, node-operators, developers, data-providers, speculators, stakers etc., just like BTC has, and that's why BTC still has dominance to this day
AND
>it's going after very specific markets for automated data-driven agreements, that it could quickly take over, and use that to accelerate the network effects listed above, and then expand to adjacent markets in finance, law, security etc.

Should the cryptospace have a destiny to become a mainstream reality in the legacy world, and if everything falls into place, LINK will be top 3 at some point in the future,
