Afaik XMR is doing very well.

Most newfags from 2017 never knew much about XMR and mostly ignored it. They wanted NFTs, yield, money for nothing, staking coins and get rewards. Borrowing infinitely large amounts of coins etc. etc.
They don't know the real crypto world.

Most of the BTC miners of 2013/14 regretted having bought mining equipment and would have made much more profit if they had bought BTC directly.
