Is there any point in trying to benefit from this downturn if I don't know anything about this kind of stuff? I have ~$25k I could feasibly "gamble" with and my coworker was talking about buying puts. I figure I'm much more likely to lose everything considering my lack of knowledge, I would literally have to research what that term means. I have no desire to be a day trader or anything. Should I just hold off on this?
