I worked at Deloitte for two years at the beginning of my career. It's like an elevator for your career; the longer you stay on, the more it pays off. Once you decide to leave, you get a much easier job working for a company.
When I worked there, starting staff made $50k, and the raises were shitty (great recession). If you made senior after 2 years, then left to industry, you could make $75k easily. If you stayed 5 years and made manager, you'd get a big bump to $80-$90k with the firm, but could soon leave for $110-$125k in industry. If you stuck around 8 years to make Senior Manager, the firm would be paying you $110k-$130k, but then you would be eligible for really sweet director level jobs in industry, VP or CFO at smaller companies, cruising towards $200k. If you stayed past Senior Manager, you could either try to be a Director, which was a partner-level, non-equity employee, or try to make partner. Directors were doing north of $200k, partners started at $300k, but they also had to buy their share of the firm and were under much more pressure to bring in business. These numbers are all around 10 years old, so I'd guess they are a little higher now.
It may sound like a no-brainer to stay and make fat stacks, but every year you are there, you are basically giving up a year of your life. Even when things were supposed to be slow I was working 50 hour weeks. Busy season was 70-80 hour weeks with no days off. You are expected to drop everything for work, and everyone does. Almost everyone is super-motivated, so if you slack, it's very obvious. For instance, I worked with about 20 people for 2 years and in that time there were 2 call-outs. One was a guy who was kind of crappy and on a PIP already, and the other was a girl who fell down in the shower and got a concussion. We got 5 weeks of paid vacation and nobody used it. We would be out of town, work from 8-7, have dinner with the team, and then half us would be on our laptops working in the hotel room.

Yeah, disappointing. I was hoping to sell into main net hype, but didn't consider this shit that is only supposed to exist for 1 month (yeah right) so they aren't putting it on any exchanges. Guess I'm waiting for main net, hope it moons eventually.
