I prefer coins to rounds. I justify it because they are more recognizable, have security features and have a little more premium when it comes to selling (which I will never do). The price lately so close as to make no difference, at least where I shop
I also like a little variety in my stack. Last week I paid extra for some Brits with Liz on them so I could have a total 100 oz of them. This week I bought some Asahii Liberty rounds just because I like the design.

Both have pros and cons. It depends on your stacking strategy.
There's lots of coins, Kangaroos, Brits, Philharmonics, that are close in price to rounds. I will pay the extra $.50 to get some name recognition and anti-counterfeit features on a coin. I buy some rounds, like Scottsdale Mint Reserve, when they're cheap.
