I've removed most of my bullion fropm the original packaging for ease of storage and ability to fondle.
I have a few 1oz bars that have started to patina after 4-5 years of being occasionally fondled then stored naked in a pile with other bullion pieces

here's a few where if you look closely, you can see a bit of discoloring around the edges. I have other pieces where the patina is even more pronounced
