All right then, after lurking here and reading a bunch of investment books I started investing last year. Here's where I am at the moment, would love some comments or criticism (or just call me a faggot that works too). I'm in my 30s, so starting late in the game, but I was lost for a very long time, got a very stable job with a good salary that lets me set aside some money.

1. Debt:
- I have no debt, no mortgages, loans, credit cards, any form of debt to private or corporate entities.

2. Real Estate:
- I own a 4 room apartment with cheap utilities and a humble 7 acre of arable land inherited from my family that is doing nothing at the moment. I should inherit 50% of an old rural house eventually.

3. Investments:
- 10 000 bucks in a savings account, CDs are too restrictive, (this is never getting touched, it's my rainy day fund if I lose my job, I could survive a year with that money easily)
- 1000 in crypto, I bought hundreds and sometimes thousands of tokens from at least 3 dozen shitcoins. No BTC.
- 1000 in a Vanguard S&P500 index fund (roughly 7% return per year, I plan to let it sit for 30 years with annual contributions of 1000 which will end up at a bit over 100 000 in 30 years thanks to the compound interest)
- 1000 in another ETF, I am not sure what I will do with this one, probably end up contributing 1000/year for 30 years as well.
- 1000 in stocks, Fidelity broker, 50% are blue chip ones, 50% small cap stocks. This is strictly to learn the ropes, I am prepared to lose it all. Not doing shorts, futures or margin yet, straight up market and limit sales.

4. Mid term goals:
- invest in a third fund, looking at REITs or run of the mill mutual funds. Possibly a britbong one.
- invest at least 2k more in popular crypto - XMR, Link, etc. No BTC unless it crashes hard.
- invest at least 5k more in stocks
- look into dividend paying stocks (haven't figured this one out fully)
