Both hold stakers funds at risk during liquidity events. BZRX stakers are not the insurance fund. You just collect fees and vote. If you want a little more risk with your stake for higher returns, you can fund the balancer pool and stake the LP token (risk some impermanent loss). Want more risk? You will be able to provide liquidity for new pairs like curve and shit before they’re “officially” added meaning ANY token can be leverage traded
