I've spent this afternoon looking over historical data, what I can tell you is that the price usually goes down after the halving for a while too so the halving event isn't what will trigger the climb to the new ATH. Also, I don't know if you're a long term holder or a swingie, but you're talking about the halving as if we still have months and months of waiting when we actually only have a little over 100 days to go. I think what will happen is out of order from what you said; the halving will come first, then the ETF will finally be cleared a few months later, coincidentally around the time when the price starts going up a lot post-halving so that the bots and whales will have a cover for playing Etch-a-Sketch with the charts like they always do post-halving.
