PSD2 is insanely bullish for LINK though.
Just may take longer.

The fact that there is no standard mandated by PSD2, but just a mandatory requirement to share the data to public is even more bullish for Link. It means that all the different systems the banks use to each other, and technology on the back end only has to be put into Chainlink. that can be any way they want. LINK is the standard they can easily transform it into.

If there was a mandated standard LINK would have a competitor, and they would have much less reason to even need something like LINK
