You mean the resistance mutation? Was shown in a murine CoV, was also shown it negatively impacts replication rate but the virus will easily take that tradeoff if put under evolutionary pressure. Nucleotide analogs might be useful in an ER setting but they won't prevent a theoretical pandemic and might quickly "lose their edge" if we're unlucky.
