/biz/nessmen who invested in silver, what are your predictions for its price?

Looking to convert the remainder of my savings out of fiat currency due to my perceived incoming risk of severe inflation. Don't really have enough to justify getting any gold, plus premiums where I live are high right now, but still want somewhere safe to put the remainder of my cash (don't bother shilling btc I already have a bunch).

Silver seems to me the best option for my circumstances but I am concerned about its performance over the last couple of weeks - would anyone be able to enlighten me why it's been hit so hard and any info on its potential outlook over the next 6-12 months.
