I never put in more than I was willing to lose. If this thing crashes, as least we're crashing together. Our pain will be shared.

The granules of time slip and slide. The chosen one shifts, slowly at first, rising from his lengthy slumber.

His speed burgeoning. He crosses 6k sat. The movement comes with ease.

He will wake.

Hi guys, I'm not a regular here at /biz/, but I'm just going to post my income growing idea to see what you guys think. Any pitfalls etc...

I guess it would help to post my current situation to avoid questions that I could have answered in my first post.

Me and my long term partner (6 years) have an ok situation going on. We agreed early on that we don't want to be wage slaves our whole lives. And right now she is working a basic 35hr week retail job which pays our bills. And my forex trading pays for the food, activities and non essentials like new shoes, going nice places to eat etc.

I have been trading for years and I am definitely good at it. However I am looking to diversify and add a new income stream. Possibly a successful one to be able to stop my gf having to be a wage slave for any longer.

Basically my idea is a graphic design and digital marketing services website. Yes, there are LOOADS of these. But I'm sure I'll find out quickly enough if there is a way to stand out to a certain crowd or not without wasting too much money.

The game plan is to use people from the likes of freelancer, peopleperhour etc etc to provide the services.

I take the orders via my website for a standard rate and simple pass the task on to freelancers for less money. With the incentive that they know I will provide lots of 'jobs' for them if they churn out good work.

The good part is that these people will be able to provide me with great graphics for the website itself and my FB advertising.

Does the business model have any obvious flaws that I may have missed?

I guess this can be a thread to churn out random online business ideas too, if you have any good ones... I don't care much for graphic design or anything. I just thought the model seemed sound and it would be convenient that my source of 'product' would also be the source of my advertising material and website.
