"Making it" is different for different people. If you're favelanon, your make it stack will be 1/10th the size of an ameritard.

I think it's simplest to make a direct valuation comparison to Eth, with the caveat that LINK will take much longer to moon (relatively) since it doesn't enable literal regulation-evading ponzi schemes the way that Eth did. With that said, I think it's not unreasonable to expect LINK to hit a similar $20b market cap as ETH sometime in the next 2 years, and since LINK has roughly 10x the diluted supply as ETH, that would put it at $20/LINK conservatively. (I consider coins being locked in staking to roughly counteract the velocity problem of team members and early adopters dumping on markets.) So you'd be a millionaire with 50,000 LINK at $20. Is that enough for you? Should you wait to sell? That's up to your personal risk tolerance.

I'm way more bullish on LINK long-term, as I've met the team and think they have what it takes to be a unicorn startup, however there is still significant risk inherent to crypto investing that negates some of the upside. Think along the lines of a 60% chance of LINK hitting $300ea and a 40% chance of complete failure still gives you a $180 Expected Value per LINK.
