The stable coins generated from interest through the flare system will eventually be pegged to the local CBDC, not the local fiat currency. They will pegged to fiat at first, but I expect all stable coins to peg themselves to local CBDCs to maintain their usage and value. The uncertainty here being in what manner will the new CBDCs be a store of value if not fiat? Many people think it will be backed by gold but that doesn't seem set in stone yet to me (Judy is still not part of the federal reserve, for example). I don't expect to sell my XRP at any point due to the potential of the utility it may have in the coming years.
