/biz/, really what's more important than reading these "white papers" on the next big thing, read up on books regarding wisdom and how to invest WISELY. Yes, there are people who do get lucky, but really when I look at this board I see a repeat of the gold rush, we all look back on that time and see how foolish those men were trying to chase a dream just because a few "struck rich." I really think we are all suckers in this as well, just that OP probably has realized it better than most of us.

Does anyone feel like maybe this is for the best? Most of us have grown up from being a bunch of young, edgy trolls. Maybe it's just time to let it go like we did with our toys when we got into our teens. The ride was fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but it's time for us to move on and grow up.

I moved on and try to live a virtuous life mostly now. I don't like hookup culture but it feels like it's the only choice I have.
