Vitalik is literally doing fuckall, funny enough he knows Gün and the Ava Labs team for years and the ETH Merge could have been turning Ethereum into a Subnet but Vitalik didnt bother for some reason and instead made Ethereum as centralized as possible and jumped on the L2 train.
He missed his chance and now Ethereum is sliding slowly into irrelevancy as anyone can simply launch their own custom VM Subnet on Avalanche for RWAs, no ETH needed.
