Sample screen grab from Amazon...
You can also buy anti-tarnish paper strips. These are good to include with a bar when sealing in plastic.

You can get anti-tarnish felt by the square yard. Line your box with that. A square yard is huge.
Alternatively, keep the individual coins in capsules in the box.

Did you just leave them out in the open, outside of tubes or capsules?

Tarnish is a little different, and probably a little harder to clean off. Also it's not from the minting process like milk spots, but from a reaction with (I think) sulfides in the air, or maybe on your hands. That box will probably help if it's air-tight, but you might also want to make a bag for your coins out of this type of cloth, and then store the bag in that box.

Try anti-tarnish felt cloth. You can zig-zag a long strip between the bars. Will help prevent tarnish, too.

Tarnish comes from exposure to sulfur, which is prevalent in the air. There are two ways to mitigate tarnish: keep the sealed so no new air gets to them, or include tarnish-absorbent paper or felt with the silver, and replace it once a year or so.

If you keep a layer between the wood and the silver coins it should not tarnish, like an anti-tarnish cloth posted in earlier thread

There are a couple ways to mitigate the tarnishing. One way would be to create an inset box of cardboard and glue/tack a liner of anti-tarnish cloth on that. pic related. Then it's easy to toss the cloth every few years for a new liner. Be sure to line the inside of the top, too.
