Not at all, you fundamentally miss what’s happening. Btc is the perfect currency. Romans used metals because they function as a unit of account, and they last over time—there’s some other reason, but I forget; anyways, if they had access to Bitcoin, they would have used it because it functions better for the needs of man. It is durable, secure, can be used as a unit of account, and has a fixed supply. Bitcoin is the basis of value moving forward.
Ethereum on the other hand is potentially the internet 2.0. Totally different sectors. That’s why ethereum is riskier, btc won its sector. Eth leads by a lot, but it has not officially won. And some of the competitors are solid.

May I ask why you are so obsessed about other people their investment? Is this a result of feminization in the West?

So my strat is to focus on just two coins. One long term hold that I'm sitting on till it moons and one solid but still volatile to catch some swings. Was wondering what everyone elses strat is.
