>start in new logistics industry for 120k a year plus super from my programmer job
>guys mainly in their 50s-60s, crazy, calculated, manipulative, angry
>was assigned to go on the trucks with them as an offsider, they'd scream and behave crazy, smashing stuff
>all of them behave the exact same way
>made statement "what happens on the truck stays on the truck"
>every 2nd day i would get a call from management from these people dobbing me in for minor mistakes
>get switched over to a tech side, there are also a bunch of peasants that dob people just to get them fired
>advised by a tech that dispatch side had wanted me gone and that it was the nature of the company

I've been thinking about resigning, Has anyone dealt with such an environment where this stuff occurs?

The managers seem like they get swayed from left to right, they know they're manipulative but still listen to them. Sort of dont know what to do to be honest. I've done further studies to enter this industry but its not working out.

What would you do?

>quit accounting job that pays 70k a year for warehousing /logistics industry which pays 100k a year
>workplace full of boomer ex yuppies
>short staffed from current work members taking sickies to stuff with the company, could not get proper training
>management were nice and first then breathed down my neck to learn faster
>ruthless and mean, makes comments
>bitched to management from day 1 try and get me fired
>3-5 of these boomers chucked sick days every week and still had a job, were still respected tot heir face but talked smack about behind their backs
>they were chuck tantrums and scream around
>they tried to weed new people out
>anything you said was spun and turned against you, even just asking a procedural question

Got notified by the manager that im being swapped to accounting department, whilst in office boomers would make their coffee and not look at me and say "loser", "piece of shyt", "go put on a dress". < dont know wtf this meant I'm musclier and fitter than all of them.

Got advised by colleagues in new department that people in logistics department are fkn shyt up and chucking tantrums and upper management are making people casual to save money including us. This week I got my shifts cut and was advised to expect anything to happen.

It look a lot of stuffing around to get the pay rate and position but now it seems like its gone to shyt and Im confused wtf todo.

What would you do? I was trying to get into this company for 5 months and it just sucks now
