Energy is the big boys market though, without energy, ,you cannot manufacture or tech, thats why oil is such a fundamental world market
solar power and wind energy will never be able to scale up to a magnitude that can fufill industrial energy (power) needs

energy is more important than materials, since without energy you cannot mine, or farm, new building materials
and without materials you cannot design new products, and without energy you can forget about any consumer products. whoever controls the flow of energy controls the world
