3 times already i purchased fake coins sold as genuine. They are quite easy to spot, even while i never handled originals, i could almost immediately tell they were fakes.
But imho there are a LOT of fakes out there, you better be cautious. Thankfully ebay always side with you, and you even get to keep the fake shit for free kek.
You have lists online of the most faked numismatic coins and way to spot them. Iirc, in the top 20 silver fakes it was mostly chink coins, US trade dollars for asian countries, Yens, then a bit of spanish colonial reales.
But as a rule of thumb, i'd advise you against any asiatic numismatic. Slabbed or not.
