I have no Ark, I won't buy any, I think it's a fine project, though. So I wonder: What happened to ARK? Why did it stagnate?

Most cultures have lingual nuances which serve as class markers. For example, the Vietnamese by their annunciation and sentence structure "know" from what class the person they are engaging come from. Of course, the English are masters at this, as are the Indians and nearly every other group.

At a certain level of development, the markers change and become more rich in meaning...

So a child sees a Van Gogh and grasps pretty colors and swirls of light and contrast.

The more developed intellect sees the struggle of a man captured on canvas.

Same picture, different depth of meaning.

Now, study the answers and see what I mean.

I have seen a lot of talk in here about token value over the past few days. There is a reason we don't talk about it openly. While it may sound great to demand we publicly declare how we will increase the value of the token for those who made a personal choice to buy it, there are a lot of reason why that is a terrible idea. The SEC has state on multiple occasions that in their investigations, whether or not a tokens value can be tied to the efforts of a single entity is a part of their determination. One major aspect they review in these situations is whether or not a company has publicly declared and conducted campaigns to increase the value of the token or in any way promised increased value to the token. They review tweets, public releases, blog posts, all kinds of promotional materials back as far as an ICO from 2016/2017 in some cases. This has resulted in exchanges being very cautious about how they handle tokens that they believe to be violating these principles the SEC has put out.

We have legal opinions stating that ARK in its current form is believed to not be a security.

Those legal opinions have been accepted by some of the exchanges we are currently on.

The lawyers who gave these opinions have strictly said, if you were to do buybacks, token burns, start directly talking about efforts you will undertake to increase token value, those determinations would no longer be valid and would be rescinded.

We have said from the beginning that ARK was a token meant to be spent within the ecosystem to interact with the functions of the network. We have laid out multiple ways in the whitepaper, in recent blog posts and AIPs, and in recent discussions some of the upcoming advancements to the network that will finally implement some of the structure necessary for the ecosystem to really start to build.

I understand that everyone can't quite see yet how it all comes together at the end, but some of that is strategic on our part to maintain some form of competitive advantage.

We are laying out the components so everyone can connect the dots but it wouldn't be in our best interests to hand over a complete blueprint if you want ARK to succeed in our goals.

I promise that we aren't wingin it. I've been full time for almost exactly a year now running strategy and helping refine and push a vision. I have spent countless hours working with Chris, Brian, Francois, Rok, Lars and all of the key players on our team making sure we are synced up and aiming towards the same place. Anyone who has been here a long time and paying close attention I think can see the difference in our pace, in the design of core and how we think about the modularity, in our code, in the components starting to take shape, and hopefully in some of our communications efforts.

When I talk to people on the team, I like to use the Voltron analogy. Right now, it's like you see a couple random lions just running around. They seem kind of cool and you are like huh, robot lions, that's pretty amazing. You are just starting to realize there are 5 lions which is even more amazing, but once we bring them all together and form the head, it will all make sense.

But I get the frustrations. Price is down. Sentiment is down. Some of our competitors look like they are beating us up. It's tough.

I promise you there is a vision and a strategy and an end goal underneath all of this. If you can't ride it out through this terrible, awful crash, I get it.

You can still love ARK and participate and support us and hold BTC. We won't blame you.

But for those who hold on, I hope that when everything comes to fruition, you guys will be glad you did.

Get in before the 30th of july, easy x2. ARK never hypes anything, very steady progress last years and fully focused on building, not on marketing.

The fact that they announce an announcement shows that it is something big, currently under NDA.

Looking at the pump of the last 2 days, you can tell insiders know more and are already buying in. Orderbook is so thin, a 20 BTC market buy skyrockets the price x2 already.

Get in before it's too late and dump @ 800 sats.

I believe in what we are doing 1000% and I personally believe its the right direction. We could be wrong and that's the gamble any startup takes, but I am all in.

If I've learned anything it's that crypto communities are a tricky group.

The constant call is for hype and marketing and big results. For v2, we went down that road, we made a huge deal about it, talked about what an advancement it was for our Core, how it lined things up for us to be able to do the development we are doing now that is necessary to meet our end goals.

But then now, when we are still building, you get people who read that excitement and positivity and say, well you said 2.0 was amazing and great, why do we need to wait for 3.0 now?

What I think is that a lot of components will start to come to fruition and start working together around the launch of 3.0. I think that by next summer, ARK will be very strongly focused on user acquisition, enterprise, and an all-out marketing sprint, because the platform will be ready for major use.
