Hey bobopals...how low is this dip going? I finally can fix my fuckups of the past 3 years, and for the next long bear market I can put half a paycheck into crypto every week, I think this week BTC will crash hard.

I have a masters in CS. If you solely want a job, then no. If you’re an idiot like me, and wanted that piece of paper for a sense of accomplishment, then yes. And definitely don’t go being a developer if you value your sanity. Only the most autistic will handle it.

I’ve gradually gotten more normie as I spent time out of college, and the industry is killing me. Everyone is woke, and management is incompetent. We chase the latest fads (Like Agile and Scrum) even when they aren’t appropriate and don’t you dare say their dedicated and expensive scrum masters and agile coaches don’t serve any real purpose. You go through college being taught object oriented programming is the bees knees, until you get to your first codebase and it’s a complete mess of a design. And nobody designs anymore, we just code a feature this sprint and good luck integrating new features down the road without major refactoring.

If I had to redo my career, I’d prolly start my own small business instead. Maybe a gun store.
