lmfao link was 20 something cents at the start of this year. zoom out.
even now, normies already in crypto hardly know about smart contracts, let alone the oracles needed for them to function. link is hardly talked about in most circles.
read pic related to understand how early we are. the next crypto mania phase will not be about currencies, but smart contracts.

development is speeding up. mainnet will be finished sometime in 2020 and ready for enterprise usage. link will easily reach at least 3 digits at its blowoff top somewhere in 2021.

>It ain't Link though
It is though. At least partly. The next major crypto hype bubble will be focused around smart contracts. The previous one was all about cryptocurrencies. Even ethereum mooned because of its currency aspect, few people understood its real importance as a smart contract platform. See pic related.

We're literally on the verge of adoption though. ETH 2.0 will change the game. We literally have major corporations namedropping Chainlink weekly now.
Adoption for smart contracts was always 2020-21.

>and still no scalability solution which takes home the cake.
ETH 2.0 is around the corner

because we're still early as fuck
the implications of smart contracts (let alone the oracles needed for them to function) are still largely unknown by the wider public. even your average crypto tard barely knows anything about smart contracts. pic related.

yes, EXCEPT the rally to $4.50 was purely on speculation on a coin that even most crypto people don't currently know the importance of. there are many alts in front of chainlink currently that will not be around in 2 years or more. now imagine 2 years from now, when they have even more massive players onboard and the network has expanded to derivatives.

when the smart contract hype cycle comes (whether its in 2021 or later) chainlink will moon beyond belief. see pic related.
