Going to bail on ZRX

It sounds like people are using the protocol without the token - as long as exchanges keep 0x on hand to facilitate trades there's no need for the average user to buy it. It's also fucking bleeding out way worse than the rest of the market - back at levels of the crash in Feb.

I loved this coin, so this stings, but yeah, pulling the plug. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I kinda just had an epiphany. Why would the value of the ZRX token need to go up? Surely it doesn't matter how many exchanges use it, or how many transactions are done on it per day. If the token is bought and sold immediately for every trade for an arbitrary amount relative to some other index eg. ether then the value of the token doesn't even matter. If it's worth lots then the exchange only has to buy a little to cover the trade. If it's worth a little then the exchange buys a lot. The only people who push the value up or down will be the hodlers. Am I missing something? I don't study economics so I definitely could be.
