the irony is if you just spectate people think you are a judgemental loser and when you get involved you end up the one that ends the conversation through blunt logic or rambling counterarguments in the name of "balance".

mostly people just want comfort in expressing how much they do or don't like "x". so now i just smile and nod like a dumbass. it is demoralising but no one listens anyway.

one experimental strategy i am testing is "planting seeds". like "if you were x would you have thought about it differently?" or for politics (as they devolve quite quickly) something like "i wouldn't base this discussion or morals alone" and just leave it as that.

"winning" is no longer an option, getting out of social engagements at breakeven is what i want now.

do drug dealers even use crypto?
