If crypto is really currency, why are we saying its crashing? Why aren't we saying fiat money is booming. 1 btc is still worth 1 btc, it's the USD is now worth more btc.

Has there been a viable use case for any crypto other than monero?
The selling points of crypto were decentralised anonymous currency.
It's too volatile to ever be used as means of trade. Nothing is ever priced in crypto, it's always "10usd in BTC or Eth". Imagine a shop selling things for "10 usd in euro".
From an anonimity perspective Monero covers that, so whats the point of BTC, ETH etc. other than just the hope it will go up in price again

There isn't a labour shortage. There are plenty of people who could take the missing jobs but companies refuse to pay the market clearing wage. A labour shortage is when there is not enough people around so companies have to compete with each other by constantly raising wages. That's not what we are seeing.
We are seeing secular stagnation and a cost-of-living crisis which has made working unattractive.
You will never hear the people in charge addmitting that the economy is fucked so they come up with these bullshit narratives to gaslight people. "Labour shortage" is essentially fake news.
