There's plenty of people buying cards and there's plenty of guides out there. Even if you have next to no idea on how to do it, just go to a non-vbv site and send something to a drop address. It isn't rocket science, it just requires a little looking around.

Looking at Kreb's site he's only covered the surface of gift card fraud, he's only talked about people that replace the Zebra scratch off stickers and put it back on the shelf. You can get a huge roll of these stickers for a few bucks and try this scheme yourself, if you do it right it's virtually impossible to detect. However MANY gift cards are either sequential or use Luhn's algorithm to protect it, so get this. Imagine your gift card # is
8282-9999-1111-0000 just as an example. If the company is using sequential numbering, you can go to their gift card balance checker site and type in 8282-9999-1111-0001 (and keep going up by one) until you get a valid card! There's THOUSANDS of companies like this, can you actually believe that? Some secure it using Luhn's algo but it's not much more secure.

If you really want to mess around with gift cards, get an MSR606. It's a magstripe reader/writer. The black bar on the back of each gift card is called a 'magstripe' and it contains all of the data for the card. Once you crack a gift card using GiftCarder.ca or by making your own script to bruteforce a site, all you do is swipe the gift card through the MSR606 and it'll rewrite the gift card's number to the one you cracked. There's people online in various communities (Nulled/Cracked/etc) that make thousands of dollars reselling cracked gift cards for 75-80% off to people who use their MSR606 or use an app called Stocard to rewrite the magstripe.

I really should start my own site sometime and talk about cybersecurity once I learn more...
