I've just been hearing around the proverbial grapevine that Tampa is one of the fastest, or at least projected to be the fastest growing city in the next 5-10 years. Well I guess I can give credence to that, since I just literally moved here after getting a new job.

I'm rebooting myself into the maritime industry, so I don't know exactly how big it is here for the commercial side of merchant marines, but I know that the hospitality/passenger side of it is definitely big. And I think I heard something about accounting being a growing profession here, and in Florida at large too.

I dunno. I like it here. Beats my shitty do-nothing NM city where I'm from with literally no opportunities. But it is definitely more expensive. I'd say middle range of "high", certainly no San Fran or fucking Manhattan that's for sure, but still higher than I'd prefer.

God, this real estate bullshit is pissing me off. THE FUCKING RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH.
