i get what you mean. in school, you're working to achieve a goal, and there's little milestones along the way when a semester ends. there's a strong sense that you're doing what you need to be doing. working, on the other hand, is just monotonous and never ending. there's a lingering feeling of all that you could be doing, but are not since there are so many opportunity costs.
