>people keep falling for this bait image over and over posting the exact same quote in the exact same manner using meme lines
>mfw this pleb not only fell for the bait but also uses reddit spacing between quoting a post and then AGAIN after his own greentext
Wew Reddit, how do you keep falling for this bait and letting it get to you over and over again?

My grandpa gets called weekly by Pajeets trying to scam him. Good thing I made him very distrustful of foreigners. Told him to always immediately call his internet provider/bank/whatever if they ask him for information. He hasn't been scammed once.

So /biz/, what did I miss?

>Segwit 2x 16 nov - 2 weeks from now

>Possible outcomes:
> 1. BTC dips but is still cruising for +$10k EOY.
> 2. BTC crashes, alts crash too.
> 3. BTC continues on this Bullrun: $9k BTC by nov 16? Alts keep bleeding.
> 4. BTC crashes, money flows into alts as people try to retain their $$$
> 5. BTC crashes so hard, eth takes over.
> 6. BTC splits, new BTC takes over and legacy BTC drops in value.
> 7. Everything goes to shit and it takes a year for the market to recover, all shitcoins are dead.

What would be the best tactics to survive the next month? Maybe even take some profit? Right now I'm down 50% on BTC because I was all in on alts. Never again.

Don't worry lads we're not in a bear market yet.
We're just seeing the bull market howling it's last growls before it goes into it's den to sleep.
Most of you didn't even know what Bitcoin was during the last real bear market so I'm going to explain some basics.
"Trading is a zero sum game, for somebody to win somebody has to lose." This is true in an absolute sense but many here are true believers in Crypto and believe no matter what some form of it will come up on top.
So if you only care about Crypto there are two more possible situations other than a zero-sum game.
You can have a:
•Positive sum game
Which is when people are buying more crypto (doesn't matter which ones) with fiat making all cryptos more valuable in the long run. This is why you often see alts sometimes rise in price along with Bitcoin. This is the bull market. Fiat flows into the market providing liquidity and raising prices.
there is also a:
•Negative sum game:
This is when you see all red or mostly red days. The winning move in a negative sum game is to have already cashed out or simply be holding what will fall the slowest. This is the bear market as liquidity falls and prices do as well. The only remedy to a bear market is actual good news dispelling widespead FUD can help however.
In a negative sum (Bear) Crypto market don't expect any moon missions, they're likely to be a longshot unless everyone decides a single coin is safe and they all act accordingly (rare)
What you should do in these situations is set up recurring purchases to buy in modest amounts over time.
Every day after the recovery you'll be thanking yourself for every day you did this.
